If there’s anything that retro gaming has taught me, it’s that the games of the past will always have more soul. This was definitely the case with the Nintendo Switch edition of Shovel Knight’s second DLC campaign: Specter of Torment. Although Plague of Shadows was the first supplemental content to be published after the original game’s release, I decided to play Specter of Torment first. With Gen Con right around the corner, August is shaping up to be one of my busiest months for content creation.
